Revisiting the past shows us that the future of customer communications management is bright.
On January 6, 2025, Doxim celebrated its 25th year as a leader in customer communications management (CCM) for organizations in highly regulated industries. Despite some early hardships, Doxim has established an unwavering mission, grown exponentially, and throughout it all, continued to innovate.
Our origins were marked by an exciting time in tech, as Chris Rasmussen, founder and former CEO, launched Doxim, originally Interprise Solutions, at the height of the dot com bubble. When the bubble burst, Doxim persevered, thanks to our uncanny ability to identify and anticipate gaps in the market. Businesses were ready to go digital, and we were on a mission to see organizations in highly regulatory industries through their transformation.
In our early days, we focused on delivering e-statement solutions to the credit union sector. Today, we’ve expanded to include a variety of digital and physical channels for industries such as banking, healthcare, and utilities. Here’s how we got there.

Our Mission – Doxim Pillars of Value
We continue to grow and evolve but our core values remain constant. They remind us to stay true to our mission of delivering secure, seamless customer communications at scale.- Data management: We built our business on managing and protecting our clients’ data, which is our top priority. We deal in highly regulated industries, and information security and data management are critical to Doxim and our clients’ success.
- Operational excellence: Our clients trust us to process and distribute their data accurately and effectively in print and digitally.
- Managed service: We’ve honed our ability to anticipate and understand our clients’ needs. When you pair those instincts with our tech-enabled, client-centric managed service model, we can respond to evolving requirements with efficiency and precision.
Our History – 25 Years of Growth and Innovation
Developing solid relationships with our clients has helped Doxim grow steadily over the years. By 2004, our portfolio expanded to over 100 clients and included a partnership with Impress Digital–a CCM firm serving financial services and regulated industry organizations. This partnership was a defining example of how vital relationship-building is to our business, because in 2009, we brought our partnership to the next level by acquiring Impress Digital.
Our Vision – For Today and the Future
As we look ahead, Doxim maintains the entrepreneurial spirit of its origins, while embracing the evolving needs and challenges of the market. With Mike Hennessy now at the helm as CEO, Doxim is poised to deliver even greater value to our clients.
Our focus now is to maintain the spirit of Doxim’s early days while transforming customer communication management solutions in ways that help us deliver a high standard of managed services through data management and operational efficiency.
We have an opportunity to continue expanding around the edges of a core value proposition that’s been in place for a very long time. We take unstructured data from our clients, help them turn it into an experience for their customers, and then we store that data and manage it on their behalf in a highly regulated environment.
We’re in a great position to build off the foundation that we’ve built over the last 25 years. And we’ve got an exciting future in front of us.
